My wife loaned a friend money. She has passed away. Can the husband of the deceased now collect money owed by wife's friend?

We are sorry but we don't understand your question. Did you mean to ask whether your wife can collect the money she loaned to her friend from her late friend's husband? If she has some kind of agreement then she can presumably try to collect from the estate if there is one. If it was just a verbal agreement it may be hard to prove what the arrangement was. She may need to get advice from an estate planning attorney to find out what the procedure for trying to collect from the estate would be. However, if there is no estate then she may be out of luck.
