Hi Gerri, thanks for your answer, but I am being SUED by the creditors. I failed to pay for my bills. I am going through a financial hardship. My main concern is having my money being withdraw without my consent. I'm so worried. My friend told me I should just take the money out, better safe than sorry.

I am sorry I am having trouble locating your original question in my response. (We've been answering a lot of questions here over the past week.)

If you are being sued, and you're worried about a creditor or collector going after your bank account, I agree you may want to take the money out just to be safe.

If I didn't advise you to do so already, I would encourage you to make sure you talk with a bankruptcy attorney to find out what your options are for dealing with this debt. Even if you don't have the money right now to hire an attorney you can get a free consultation with a bankruptcy attorney and I think that will help you understand what the creditors can and cannot do to you.

I hope this helps. If you need to write again, it's best to use the comments link below your question so that I can keep the questions and answers together.

Hang in there - please let us know what happens.
