I was sent a debt buy out for an account that I couldn't pay after having to go on disability. When I called to accept the buy out they refused it, now they are suing me for more than double the amount. I have a court date. I never denied I owed the money and tried work out some type of payments, but they refused the payment amount because they said it wasn't enough. What am I suppose to do? I can't afford to pay it off in full.

Deserie - Very often the collection agencies or debt buyers who bring these lawsuits lack the documentation to successfully sue borrowers. The attorney can help you find out if that's the case here.
We suggest you read our pages about being sued by a collection agency or debt buyer.
