Bank of America inflating debt

Mom passed away, with a collection company she was trying to pay off 2000.00, after she died bank of america took back the account from the collection company and are now trying to get 9,000.00, from the estate, WHAT THE HELL!!!!.. are thay entitled to the 9.000.00 or the balance of the 2,000.00.. THANKS LEONARD

We're sorry to hear about your mom's death and the debt she left behind. It certainly sounds like that debt has been inflated. You are likely going to need to talk with a consumer law attorney, though, to see if they can legally collect that much.
