Which book of yours is best?

by Bob
(Los Altos, CA.)

I found this book of yours on Amazon: "Stop Debt Collectors"; and then this e-book "Debt Collection Answers" when I went looking for the answers I seek... Over six different collectors calling about debts from over ten years ago, who just pass it off to other firms when I ask them to validate and tell me who the real collector is.

Does your e-book cover everything the paperback version does?
Which is better?

Thanks in advance for letting me know.

Our debt collection books
by: Gerri

Thanks for asking about our books Bob. The paperback version of Stop Debt Collectors is now out of print. Our current book is our ebook, Debt Collection Answers. Since you live in California, you would want to order the California edition of Debt Collection Answers as it contains a chapter written by California consumer law attorney Robert Brennan. The chapter describes the California debt collection law that provides additional protection.

I assume you are keeping good records of the calls/letters from these collectors. If not, make sure you download our free debt collection worksheet and use it to keep notes. In addition, keep a file with a copy of every letter from the collectors.

If you don't already have copies of your credit reports, you may want to order copies from AnnualCreditReport.com to confirm these old debts aren't appearing on your credit reports. (Ten year old debts should not be on your credit.)

If you read our ebook and believe the collectors may be breaking the law, we recommend you contact Brennan Law (www.BrennanLaw.com) for help. Robert Brennan has successfully represented numerous consumers in cases against unscrupulous debt collectors.

Let us know how this turns out for you.
