i had twenty days to answer a junk debt summons,
it has been over 2 months since i heard back. how much time do the junk debt collector get to respond to my answer.

I am not familiar with the laws of civil procedure in your state. I recommend that you contact the clerk with the court that issued you the summons to get an answer to your question. The summons you received should indicate the name of the court and may also include contact information for the clerk there.
