Statue Of Limitation Has Run Out Can It Be Collected On Now?

The statue of limitation has ran out on my loans. They have the deed to my home. Can they collect on this loan. Do they have to release my deed to my home? i live in Tennessee.

We need more information to try to answer your question. Who are "they?" What type of debt is this? And why do they have the deed to your home? Is there a lien against your property? Please use the comments link below to respond.

The company that has a lien on my property is a finance company. It is a deed of trust.There are other loans that were done illegal and I showed them that it wasn't right. Now they want to do away with those loans and they to work something out on the note that has the deed of trust on it.I don't know if I should.
