Sent to collections for a broken appt fee

If your doctor told you that you would be billed if you missed an appointment without providing his/her office with a certain amount of notice, you are billed for a missed appointment because you violated your doctor's policy, and then you don't pay the bill, the doctor is entitled to turn your debt over to collections. So, if I were you, I would pay what you owe to the doctor. You risk being sued for the money if you don't, and if that happens, your situation will go from bad to worse.
