Responsibility for Son's Medical Bill

I am the primary policy holder for my sons medical insurance. My son was seen by a doctor and insurance denied payment stating additional information is needed. My son's mother is the primary care giver who refuses to give me this information. Since she took him to the doctor and we reside in two separate homes and she gave consent for treatment will she be responsible for the bill?

Responsibility for Son's Medical Bill
by: Debtcollectionanswers

If your son's mother took your son to the doctors and the bill for your son's medical treatment is in her name, then she would be legally responsible for the medical bill. However, if the two of you are divorced and your divorce agreement requires you to pay for your son's medical care, then you would be responsible for the bill.
