 Does a Repossession Affect My Driver's License?

If your car is repossessed, you will lose it, but not your driver's license. The car lender gave you the loan to purchase your car and your state motor vehicle department issued you a license to drive. The two transactions are totally separate -- one has nothing to do with the other. Therefore, if you lose your car you are still legally entitled to drive.
