Payment arrangement

I have set up a monthly payment arrangment with a debt collection agency to pay down some debt on student loans. For a period of time, that sufficed and I was no longer being contacted in any form or fashion by a debt collection agency. I'm still making monthly payments but am now being contacted by another debt collection agency. What gives?
