Can a state government agency place a order to withhold and deliver on a bank account where a us military petition is deposited? This has nothing to do with state taxes and child support. It concerns payback of unemployment benefits and I do not live in that state anymore

Dennis,

Please run - don't walk - to talk with a bankruptcy attorney. Consulting with a bankruptcy attorney does NOT mean you have to file for bankruptcy. The attorney, however, will help you understand whether your bank account is safe - and if so, how to protect it. It will be time well spent, especially when you consider the alternative (trying to get money back into your account due to a government error!)
