Old debt, trying to obtain phone number with no information

I have an old debt (checking account overdraft through Bank of America) that I cannot seem to find on my credit report. I had the account in Michigan and know it went to collections but I haven't received a letter in over a year. I want to start making payments on the debt now that I'm working but don't know how to contact them. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried getting your free reports from Telecheck or Chexsystems to see if it's on there? The only other thing we can suggest is to try to talk with the bank to see if they can help you track it down.

Otherwise you might have to wait until you hear from a collection agency. It could be in limbo.
