Mom owed Lowes credit card when she died without any estate or money. What happens to that debt? Will they hold me responsible for it as her daughter?

So sorry for your loss. However, you are not legally responsible for your Mom's debt. Therefore, if there were no assets in your Mom's estate to pay the Lowe's debt, it will simply go unpaid.

I'm sorry about your mothers passing. I just lost my mother and I can't seem to get over it. Luckily my mom left me an IRA but what bills she had left , they took out all the bills she had before the final amount was given to me.

We're sorry for your loss. Typically IRAs pass to the beneficiaries outside of the estate. Did your mother fail to name beneficiaries? Or did she name her estate as a beneficiary?
