My First Letter From Ars....With All These Complaints, What Should I Do?
My question is...
I just received my first letter from this company. But with all that I have read so far on this company, do I send them my money??? If this is legitimate, I want to pay what I owe, but if not.......

Amy - that's a really good question. We recommend you do two things.
1. Start a file. Keep copies of every piece of correspondence you receive or send. Download our Free Debt Collection Worksheet and use it to take notes after any phone conversations. Check your credit reports to see if they have reported the debt there. (It may take 30 - 45 days before they start reporting.)
2. At a minimum, read the first chapter of Debt Collection Answers online for free so you have at least a basic understanding of your rights when dealing with debt collectors.
If problems arise, you can always return to ask questions.
