Money a debtor can take from me

Could debtor seize my Patient Advocate reimbursement monies? The Patient Advocate foundation is now helping me with my health insurance co-pays. Is any of the money free for the taking by the debt collector?

I am not familiar with the Patient Advocate Foundation and the reimbursements you are receiving and also, I am not an attorney. However, I believe that once the reimbursement money is in your bank account, the collector could take it, assuming the collector had gotten prior permission from the court to do so.

For a definitive answer to your question, I recommend that you contact a consumer law attorney in your area who helps people resolve their debt collection problems.

Not in court (yet). My only income is social security and I own no real estate. (Lost everything within past 2 yrs.) Have been told that I'm "judgement proof," by a lawyer.
Didn't realize you weren't a lawyer--sorry.
Thanks!
