A kitchen cabinet company was paid in full for a job they did for a home owner. He did not pay the counter top people the $4000.00 for the granite. He then filled bankruptcy. The countertop company then field a lien against the homeowners house. Can they do this and win judgment. Does the bankruptcy nullify the monies due the countertop company?
The real kicker here is, the Kitchen Cabinet Co. started over and the countertop company still does work for the guy is responsible for the lien.
