Is it my bill?

While me and my wife were still legally married she had made some medical bills. we got a divorce she filed bankruptcy on medical bills but now i am having to pay them through collection is this right? We are from Arkasas.

 Unpaid medical bills

Medical bills can sometimes be tricky. When your wife was treated, did you sign any forms? If so, you may have "agreed" to pay any bills that were not covered by insurance.

If you aren't sure whether you owe these bills, I would recommend you check with a consumer law attorney who may be able to help you understand your rights.

If it turns out you are responsible, then you may want to try a new service called IOUSOS that helps consumers negotiate unpaid medical bills.
