Iowa statute of limitations for debt

The statute of limitations on a debt depends on the type of debt you owe. My sources indicate that in Iowa the applicable statutes of limitation are:

Written Contract: 10 years

Promissory Note: 5 years

Open-Ended Accounts: 5 years. Open-Ended accounts include credit cards.

Oral Contract: 5 years
