How can you be protected from debt collectors if you paid your equal portion on a three portion lease?
The debt collectors said we can split the debt into three, I already paid my portion of the debt and I know you are still liable for the debt since you are still on the lease.
Is there anyway I can be protected from this or taken off the lease if I already paid my portion?
