Handling Late Fees Owed on Car Loan

I have no idea what your auto lender will do in regard to the late fees that you owe. However, I would be proactive if I were you and call them now to find out.

If you cannot pay the late fees in one lump sum, then try to work out a payment plan with the lender. I expect that the fact that you have taken the initiative to contact the lender about how to take care of those fees will make it more willing to work with you because you will come across as a responsible individual who wants to pay what you owe.
