I owe $1500 car loan and they said they have a claim against me do I have to go to court?

We're not sure we understand your question, or what they mean by a claim against you, but if you are being sued for a debt we recommend you do not simply ignore it. If you do, they will get a default judgment against you and that gives them additional collection powers. We've written about debt collection lawsuits here - hopefully that will be helpful.
