What will happen if i don't show up to court if I'm being sued?

I understand you don't want to go to court, but please do not fail to respond or show up. If you do not appear, the creditor will likely get a default judgment against you, which will open up new avenues to collect. You can read more about what happens if you are being sued for a debt here.
