Deceased with Debt

by Karen
(eugene, oregon,lane)

Can debt collectors find out a person owned a home or car if there wasn't an estate filed and there was no will?

Reply from DebtCollectionAnswers.com: Karen, it is fairly easy and routine for debt collectors to search a debtor's assets. That doesn't mean they are entitled to them but it's not necessarily difficult for them to find out about them.
