I am sorry I am having trouble locating your original question in my response. (We've been answering a lot of questions here over the past week.)

If you are being sued, and you're worried about a creditor or collector going after your bank account, I agree you may want to take the money out just to be safe.

If I didn't advise you to do so already, I would encourage you to make sure you talk with a bankruptcy attorney to find out what your options are for dealing with this debt. Even if you don't have the money right now to hire an attorney you can get a free consultation with a bankruptcy attorney and I think that will help you understand what the creditors can and cannot do to you.
