Creditor Denied Wage Garnishment but....

A creditor has a judgement against me. They tried to garnish my wages but a judge ruled against them citing we need our income for supporting our family. Can the creditor levy our bank account for what is essentialy the same money?

The creditor can ask the court for permission to take money from your bank account, seize an asset that you own that is nonexempt (protected from collection actions), or put a lien on one of your assets. If there is a lien on the asset, you cannot sell it or transfer it to someone else unless you pay off the lien, which will probably be for the amount of the judgment.
