Collector freezes multiple acctts not attached to bad debt subject

What legal rights do I have if my wife over extends her credit cards unknown to me, fails to show up at court appointment and collection agency is then given court Ok to freeze my account that is not tied to my wife's and also my daughter's account with all of her funds she is saving to complete her education?
