Collection of G.I. Bill Covered Tuition

by Robert
(Knoxville, Tn)

I enrolled in an online school in 2005 in which i was considered a 3/4 student. I didn't receive the full amount for tuition so i had to make up the difference, about 250 dollars. I then had to drop out 9 months later WITH THE SCHOOLS BLESSING TO ATTEND LATER. I then received a bill for 3700.00 for the next semester. Can they legally say i owe this when the G.I. bill was paying it?

Robert,

We don't know the answer to your question. It would probably depend on the agreement you signed with the school. Unfortunately, we haven't had any experience with this topic.

Have you kept copies of the papers you signed when you enrolled? What state do you live in?
