Capital One Bank

I applied for a credit card last month. After I received the card I decided not to activate the account. Today I received a statement of account with a thirty nine dollar membership fee on this bill. I talked to their representative who said the fee could be waived if I agreed to keep the account open. I closed the account immediately. Why was one billed for fee on an unactivated account??

Beware all of these money grubbing thieves. Don't do business with Capital One!!!!
