Can I Keep One Credit Card?

by larry
(brick,nj,usa)

I am 71 went to a lawyer he said I was judgement proof. The question is this.I stopped paying the cc but i would like to keep 1 from a different co will I get into trouble? I forgot to ask the lawyer this.

Reply from DebtCollectionAnswers.com:

Larry - we don't see any reason why you can't keep a card. As long as the issuer doesn't close the account, we don't see why it would be a problem. However, we are not attorneys so please don't take this as legal advice.
