Can court take your income tax

Can a court take all your income-tax when you are married and half the income-tax is part of the spouses as well?

Donald - Unfortunately we don't have enough information to answer your question. We don't know enough about the situation. It sounds like there is a judgment against you...? Or do you have a tax lien? Arizona is a community property state which usually means that creditors can look to the property that both of you own together, which could include your tax refunds. You may need to get a a free initial evaluation with a bankruptcy attorney to find out what your options are.
