I've been paying a debt as ordered. My creditor did not cash 2 checks and has filed for a wage garnishment. What are my options?

garnishment question

At this point you'll need to talk with an attorney to find out what your options are. It sounds like there is probably a judgment against you, and that does give the judgment creditor additional options. The best way to find out what your options are to fight this garnishment (or eliminate the debt if there is no other option) is to talk with a bankruptcy attorney. You can get a free initial evaluation with a bankruptcy attorney here. Even if you don't want to file, it's a good idea to find out what they can and cannot do to collect this judgment.
