If you were sued over a debt but you were never served with notice of the lawsuit, then you should get in touch with a consumer law attorney right away. You have a legal right to be notified of when a court proceeding against you is going to take place so you can defend yourself. Therefore, the business that sued you may have violated the law and you may have legal grounds for a lawsuit. To find out if a lawsuit is a viable option for you, go here, consumer law attorney .
